They follow the same instructions, so the answer comes back in your team's format. The wording still differs by model.
Do coding agents need the skill files on disk?
No. Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and OpenCode reach the pod through its MCP link. If you prefer folders, the sync guide shows where each one looks.
