What removing someone does
Removing a contractor stops future access. It can't recall what they already copied, and anyone you invite can read the skills they use. Put your team's way of working in the skill, and keep client secrets and private notes out of it.
Questions
Does a contractor need our Claude Team or ChatGPT Business?
No. They use their own Claude on any plan with custom connectors, or their own ChatGPT on Pro, Business, or Enterprise.
What happens when the contract ends?
Remove them from the pod. Their AI stops reaching your skills from then on; anything they already copied stays with them.
Can contractors read the skill's instructions?
On Team, yes: everyone you invite can use and read every skill. On Business, contractors don't get your employee skills, and you can make them use-only: the app doesn't show them a skill's text or let them download it. Their AI still receives the text when it uses the skill, so share a skill only with people you'd show it to.
Can I see whether a contractor uses the skills?
On Team and Business, you see who used which skill.

Your team stays on Free unless you buy Team or Business. Nothing is charged unless you buy.
