Works in Claude, ChatGPT, and coding agents. On Team and Business, the official skill in your pod updates itself when we improve it.
When to use it
- A prompt worked well and you want the team to reuse it
- Several people keep rewriting the same prompt
What you give it
- The prompt or conversation, with your corrections
- 1 to 2 good outputs
- Who will use it and where
What you get
A complete SKILL.md file in the Agent Skills format, tested on fresh inputs.
How it works
- Find the reusable part
- Name it
- Write the description
- Write the steps
- Add the output template and one example
- Add checks
- Test it on fresh inputs
Example
What you give it
I keep pasting this into ChatGPT: 'Here are my notes from a customer call. Write a follow-up email: thank them, recap what we agreed, list next steps with dates, under 150 words, no buzzwords, end with one clear question.' I usually have to remind it to use the customer's own words and not invent dates." Output: `
What you get back (the start of it)
--- name: call-follow-up-email description: Writes a short follow-up email after a customer call from rough notes - thanks, a recap of what was agreed, next steps with owners and dates, and one closing question, under 150 words. Use when someone shares call notes and asks for a follow-up email, a recap email, or "send them a summary". ---
Call follow-up email
A follow-up confirms what was agreed while the call is fresh, so nothing drifts. Keep it short, in the customer's own words, and end with one question that moves things forward.
When to use
- After a sales or customer call, from notes or a transcript.
- Not for a cold email to someone you haven't spoken to.
What you need
- The call notes. If dates for next steps are missing, write "date to confirm" instead of inventing one.
- The customer's name and company.
The rest of this output, the full steps and the checks the AI runs before it answers are in your pod once you add the skill.
