Guide
Claude for marketing agencies: projects per client, skills across clients
A marketing agency gets most from Claude with one project per client, holding that client's brand guide, product facts and best past work, and skills for the methods it uses on every client: the voice rewrite, ad variants, the content calendar, the weekly client report and a claims check. The project keeps each client's voice apart; the skills keep the agency's standard the same on every account, and on Claude Team, which isn't trained on by default, both can be shared with the account team. Freelancers who work on their own accounts can get the skills, not the client projects, through AI Skill Pod, in their Claude, Cursor or ChatGPT (Pro, Business, Enterprise) from one invite link.
Short answer
- Per client: a project with the brand guide and past work.
- Across clients: skills for the agency's methods.
- Plan: Claude Team, to share projects and skip training.
- Freelancers: the skills, not the client files.

A worked example: 12 people, 18 clients
Illustration: a made-up business. A 12-person agency writes ads and content for 18 small brands, with four regular freelancers. The managing director:
- Creates one project per client on Claude Team, each with the brand guide, three best posts and the product list, shared with that account's team.
- Writes four skills the agency uses on every client: ad variants, the content calendar, the Friday client report and a claims check before anything goes out.
- Puts the skills in the agency's pod for the freelancers, who paste the client's brief into each job only on an account with model training turned off, as each client's contract allows, so they never get access to other clients' projects.
When a client asks to run the calendar in-house, the agency delivers that skill to the client's own pod as part of the handover.
AI Skill Pod is this site's product. You can start on Free at $0, with no card, for up to 3 people and 10 skills; after the 14-day trial, your team stays on Free unless you buy Team ($5 per seat a month from 3 seats) or Business.
Set it up
- Check each client contract for limits on AI use and disclosure.
- Make one project per client, starting with the three biggest accounts.
- Write the agency's first two skills from its best work, with client names removed.
- Add freelancers to the pod, not to the client projects, and remove them when a job ends.
Next step: deliver your method to clients
Some clients will want your method, not just the work. Agencies: deliver your method to clients as AI skills shows how.

Questions
How should a marketing agency set up Claude?
One project per client, with that client's brand guide, product facts and best past work, and skills for the methods the agency uses on every client, such as ad variants, the content calendar and the weekly report. On Claude Team, projects can be shared with the account team.
How do I keep each client's voice separate in Claude?
Keep each client's brand guide and examples in that client's project, and keep the agency's methods in skills that don't name any client. The skill does the work; the project supplies the voice.
Can freelancers and clients use the agency's skills?
Yes. Share the skills through a pod: freelancers join from an invite link in their own Claude, Cursor or ChatGPT (Pro, Business, Enterprise), and you remove them when the job ends. If a client pays for the method, you can deliver the skill to the client's own pod.
AI skill
Have your AI write in your brand's voice
Put this skill in AI Skill Pod and everyone on your team gets it in their Claude, Cursor or ChatGPT (Pro, Business, Enterprise): one invite link, free to start. Brand voice guide and rewrite has your AI pull a client's voice from three to five of their texts, with traits as do and don't pairs, a word list and sentence habits, then rewrite a draft in that voice.
