Gemini Enterprise vs ChatGPT Business: which fits your team
Gemini Enterprise is Google Cloud's AI workspace built around searching your company's data where it lives, across Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, Notion and more, within each person's permissions, and its Business edition covers up to 500 users. ChatGPT Business is OpenAI's team workspace for chats, projects, skills and plugins, and neither service trains on your data. Illustration: a made-up business. A 70-person logistics company keeps contracts in Google Drive, customer threads in Microsoft 365 email and tickets in Jira. Account managers spend hours finding the latest terms for a customer. The operations director:

What's the difference between Gemini Enterprise and ChatGPT Business?
Gemini Enterprise is built around searching your company's data where it lives, across Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 and other connected tools, within each person's permissions. ChatGPT Business is a team workspace for chats, projects, skills and plugins. Both have agents and custom skills, and neither trains on your data.
Is Gemini Enterprise the same as Gemini in Google Workspace?
No. Gemini Enterprise is a Google Cloud product with its own editions: Business for up to 500 users, and Standard and higher editions with no user cap. It connects to Google Workspace, and also to Microsoft 365 and other tools.
Does Gemini Enterprise or ChatGPT Business train on our data?
Neither does. Google says prompts, outputs and tuning in Gemini Enterprise are never used to train its models, and OpenAI says ChatGPT Business data is never used for training.
